Movement is relative to the robot. The intake is at the front of the chassis.
Extractor: intake alone collects loose floor elements. Intake + extractor lowers the flap to a 10° ramp at floor level. Face a flower's base and keep both held to extract its bottom pollen.
Shooting: hold alignment until the shot solution is ready. Keep alignment held while firing with the right trigger. A shot can hit the lip, side, or back of the actual cell; aim from a clear position.
Claw: D-pad down unfolds it. Touch loose pollen or friendly nectar to grab; all controlled pieces share the four-element limit. Press D-pad up once to lift, then again to release. Position the side claw over the flower opening before releasing. It then folds and lowers automatically.
Spindexer + hood: collects pollen and friendly nectar; opposing nectar exits the rear. Four pockets rotate to the intake or shooter, so longer slot changes take longer. Left/right selects a loaded pocket. Up raises both slides and unfolds the guide for flowers; Down folds it before lowering. With the hood deployed, RB / E aims the chassis at the nearest flower and sets the flywheel speed. Drive the guide over the opening, stop, and fire. Flower nectar is legal in the final minute.
Match: 3-second countdown, 30-second AUTO, 8-second intermission, and 2-minute TELEOP. Driver-assisted AUTO is a practice option. Mechanisms stop during intermission and at time zero. Free drive practices the final-minute rules without a timer.
Human player: each tip unlocks one nectar; all remaining nectar unlocks in the final minute. H / X enters an available nectar onto a clear loading-zone tile. Returned pollen is reintroduced by simulated field staff near where it exited.
Points: each completed hive tip earns 20. Remaining hive pieces earn 2 each only after the match settles. AUTO leave/park awards are assessed at the end of AUTO. Early nectar in a flower still scores, with a 20-point G410 penalty for the opponent.
